PursueGOD.org is a resource library for whole-life discipleship, based on a biblical worldview and developed by evangelical churches in our network. Our beliefs and values drive everything we do at pursueGOD.org:
In a phrase, we believe the truth as revealed in the Bible. Though our network churches come from a variety of Christian denominational backgrounds, we generally classify ourselves as evangelical Christians. We extend grace to one another on doctrinal distinctives while we generally agree on a handful of basic Christian doctrines. As Jesus taught, living according to the truth leads to freedom and joy.
We believe that nothing matters more in this life than connecting to God and to people. That’s why our resources are designed not just to provide information, but to empower conversations. Our goal is to help everyone, everywhere, discover and share the truth of Jesus Christ and a biblical worldview.

If you didn’t like fish, would Jesus make you a cheeseburger?
If someone in the crowd didn’t like fish would Jesus make them a cheeseburger ? Not for nothing but if he has these incredible powers he should have came up with a better menu.
Dear Brother 🙏🏻. Thanks a sharing the Word of God Almighty.May He bless you.
God bless you
Lost me with that horrific thumbnail. Ain't no way this is a Christian channel.
Coffee during fasting? I drink it black
Thanks huntn; I’m old school and yes they have change words in the Bible greatly !!!!!!🙏🏽👍🏽
Yes it is a good thing between husband and wife on Earth but when you get to heaven you do not have an erotic type of Love with Jesus any more than you have a pornographic type of Love with Jesus. As a certain somebody on the internet has been saying would happen when you get to heaven I hate to tell her that she is sinning, sinning...& needs to repent of her sin against Jesus.
Perfectly explained.
Glad it was helpful!
It’s perfectly legal to heal on the Sabbath according to Torah.
I have an old King James Bible from 1862, and Isaiah 11:6 says "wolf" in it. So I'm not sure how its suddenly been changed when this one I have is over 160 years old
I am missing something. My Bible also refers to the wolf - what am I missing with reference to your comment? Thanks
@@pursuegodvideo You aren't missing anything. I am struggling to understand how its been changed as well as I also remember it being lion and lamb.
@@pursuegodvideo Basically I am trying to figure out how it even changed in a 160 year old KJV too
Understand now, thanks. Actually, I don't think any part of the Bible has changed but there are a number of passages that sound similar. Take a look at this explanation which I hope will be helpful. www.gotquestions.org/Lion-and-the-Lamb.html
Not focusing on God while choosing to go without food is still considered fasting. You added “in order to focus on God”. There are atheists who fast for health reasons. Just sayin
Excellent

These guys are real jokers u need to stick to your topic
I know this is an old video, but come on people! Of course he is talking about spiritual discernment because he is sharing knowledge and wisdom from the bible whose author is a spiritual God.
God has the final say in everything, Amen!
This is from Hong Kong. Thanks for your vedeo.
oh, by your opinion God supposed sex to be extremely boring
you missed a crucial point - child pornography
It’s CERN changing times and words in our Bibles
I have two questions for you, but i have more because i am going to hold back on you. If unforgiveness is sin then God( the most high) is sin himself then because if you blaspheme against holy spirit, you shall never have forgiveness like jesus said in matthew 12:31? If unforgiveness is a sin, then joseph was in sin himself before his father asked joseph to forgive: why didn't most high give joseph not one rebuke after his brothers trepassed against him during 13 years when he was in in pit and under poither rule before he made it to the place when his father jacob( isreal) sent a letter asking joseph to forgive his brothers in the book of Genesis?
You have asked a difficult and very important question. It is a question that goes to the heart of why Jesus, Who is God from eternity past, became a man while remaining at the same time God. In a very real sense, Jesus death on the cross is the basis for all forgiveness. Going back to the basics, we know that "The wage of sin is death" Rom. 6:23 and since we are all sinners, we are all bound for hell, which is eternal death. God, who is just, cannot say, " you are a sinner deserving of death, but I think that I'll give you a pass." God cannot give a pass (forgive) because doing so would violate His nature, which is just. However God, in His infinite mercy provided a way that your sins and mine might be forgiven. Jesus, went to the cross and paid the penalty for our sins. As infinite God, Jesus was able to pay the price for the sins of the whole world (John 3:16). Therefore, God the Father can look at the repentant sinner, see that the penalty for his/her sin has been paid by Jesus and offer forgiveness. As human beings, we are not capable of forgiving sins in the same way that God does. We can and should forgive because of what has been forgiven us. When God forgives us, He no longer holds sin against our account. When we forgive, we should do the same. By the way, God's forgiveness of sin is always associated with the individual's acknowledgement of and repentance from sin. What sense would it make for an individual to come to God, asking for forgiveness for sin while neither acknowledging nor repenting from that sin? You bring up another tough question from Matt 12:31 “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men." To explain what the Holy Spirit does in the world, I am going to import a paragraph from "Got Questions.org" an excellent resource. "In John 16:8, Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit: “When [the Spirit] comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment” (ESV). In this verse, we see a three-fold ministry the Spirit will perform in relation to the unsaved world. He will “convict” the world; that is, He will reprove it or show it to be wrong. This reproof will target three areas in which the world needs admonishing: sin, righteousness, and judgment." So, if the Holy Spirit convicts a person of sin and that person rejects the Holy Spirit, the individual will never understand the nature of their sin and certainly never repent from said sin. Therefore, their sin will not be forgiven because repentance is a requirement for forgiveness from sin. Note that when we forgive, we do so without requiring the offender's repentance for two reasons 1. We are not God and are not capable of forgiving sin at its source and 2. We forgive (no longer hold the offender accountable) because God has already forgiven us. Finally, the matter of Joseph and his forgiveness of his brothers. In truth, Joseph is a model of forgiveness. If you read the story again, you will note that Joseph had forgiven his brothers even before they recognized Joseph as their brother. Jacob wrote the letter because he wanted to make sure that after Jacob's death, Joseph would not revenge himself on his brothers, but the letter was unnecessary based on the fact that Joseph had forgiven the offense years earlier. Thanks for studying scripture. I still have questions, but I rest in the fact that God does not make mistakes and the answers are in scripture. Keep studying.
@pursuegodvideo well thank you. Well it's good that you still have questions concerning this topic. I have some more questions for you based on some things that you spoke. You said that we are to forgive without requiring the offenders repentance. If we was to follow this mindset then where does it say in the bible God just forgave without requiring any repentance from the sinner? If there was no purpose for requiring repentance from the offender( sinner), then why did Jesus say in Luke 5:31-32 31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Based on what you said,it wasn't for no requirement for repentance of the offender then what is the purpose of the cross for forgiveness of sin then? Once again you just that person is suppose to forgive without requiring repentance from the offender:Then why did the messiah command us in Luke 17:3 if your brother trepasses against you rebuke him, if he repents, forgive? Why one doesn't see if your see in that scripture in Luke 17:3 of if someone trespasses against you, forgive or just forgive, but it says if someone trespasses against you rebuke (1st step) if he repents (2nd step) then forgive( last step)? Too, why does Jesus talking about the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 verse when son repented to his son, but the father forgave only after his repentance, and other son got angry at his brother? How can there be forgiveness without repentance from the offender then? What about in I Samuel 26:21-22 where Saul repented and confessed his sin to david, and david forgave it? Concerning Joseph, he forgave his brothers after he seen the written letter by his father Jacob in Gensesis 50th chapter. Before the letter, Joseph didn't forgive his brothers. If Joseph forgave before that where is the proof and scripture that he did then? I want to make a deal with you, if you can find me one scripture that states if someone trespasses against you, forgive or just forgive? And matthew 6:14-15 and mark 11:24-26 is not a proof text. I will rethink over all the questions I asked and i will repent and take accountability for being wrong to you . I will tell others on my other youtube channel tylerjti: you have to forgive without the requirement of repentance. If you can't find me a scripture that states that when someone trepasses against you, forgive or just forgive. This is without repentance: you are going to have to let go of your doctrine of forgiveness and start learning the truth on biblical forgiveness and i don't mind showing you: and you will have to start exposing the false doctrine of forgiveness on your channel. I will see if you take you take up my deal or let pride get in your way and not take up my deal.
I accept Jesus christ as my lord and savior
It's nice when you can just cherry-pick what you want out of the Bible, but the Bible is one of the most pornographic books ever.
Jesus is lord
The immediate context in the chapter is that Jesus is leaving earth but that He is coming again through the Holy Spirit whom Jesus says the Father will send in My Name. The Father is the one sending, the Father sent the Son to earth and then He is going back to the Father and the Father sends Jesus again through the Person of the Spirit. In this sense, the Father is greater than the Son, the Father is the planner and the Son is used to execute the plans. Jesus does declare in a previous chapter that He has equal power to the Father using very similar words found in John 14. It is really worth looking at the verses in respect to the passage in John 14 as it helps shed light on what Jesus is saying; In John 10:29 Jesus says that My Father is greater than all and that no one can snatch them out of My Father's hand. When the passage is taken in context Jesus is actually declaring that He is greater than all, along side the Father. The verse immediately before states that the Father has given Me authority to give eternal life and that no one can snatch them out of MY (Jesus') hand. This is His first affirmation and then He says that the Father is greater than all and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. So is the Father greater than Jesus? Jesus just said in the previous verse that no one is able to snatch them out of My hand He affirms that He and Father have the same power. And so the one sense that Jesus shows the Father as being greater, looking at the context of John 10 ad 14 is that the Father is the one who gives the authority to the Son to have the flock and to give eternal life to whom He will and, in the sinilar position, thw Father is greater in that He is ultimately the Planner. Clearly though, Jesus is indeed omnipotent just as the Father but He plays a submissive role to the Father. Last point, we know that He is equal to the Father in the next verse after Jesus says that no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand Jesus states I and My Father are one. The Jews understood what He was really saying and they accused Him of blasphemy and for exalting Himself as God... Case closed.
We shouldn't "have to" love anyone. That sounds a bit manipulative.

Judas Sicariotes was the Chief of the Scribes until the crucifixion. He was committed to zealotry & eastern views. The successor of Judas the Galilean, he was called 'Satan', & under this name debated with Jesus in the 'Temptations'. On this occasion (which took place near Mird, the 'Wilderness'), they were working out the differences within the newly formed anti-Baptist party. Showing Jesus a map of the world as it was then known, he said, " If you will worship me, all this will be yours". The concealed meaning was: "If you will accept me as Priestt & Pope, I will make you king". Jesus replied, "You shall worship the Lord your God, & him only you shall serve ". He was declaring his support for the head of the peace faction, Jonathon Annas.
Seems to me that they're 2 separate beings. As if Jesus was sent down by God in flesh form. Even the counter statements i see here even further that. I believe God manifested the "word" into a physical entity and because of that becoming his son. It just doesn't make sense for Jesus to be actual God because why would he pray? Or get Baptized for himself? I feel like God sent the "word" down to earth so people may have someone to visually demonstrate God's way of life.
Listen buddy! You are confusing the facts. I don't need to think about it as you put the spin on it it is immoral. I refer you to Peter Rambo for a greater education. You have an agenda because that is not the facts. You are a shallow man because you are insisting you understand the facts . I refer you also to Hannah Stoddard of the Joseph Smith Foundation. So you can develop a greater understanding of the facts.
Thank you for this valuable information! 🦋🪻
Thank you, this is beautiful. 🪻🏡
Thank you kindly, this is very helpful.
Thank you for this information! 🔥
this video has nothing to do with the Lion and the Lamb.
If I attend church I don’t mind paying my 10% it’s only right
Amen❤❤❤❤❤
This is a correct interpretation but the one found in Isaiah where the lamb and the lion will be together also referes to the change of nature from the fact that lions kill animals to live to pacific creatures that no one fears. The same goes for the ader that mentions the Bible that will do no harm. All the creation become corrupt because of Adams disobedience to God.
The father is greather than i.i and the father are one.the word was god(aka jesus).the word became flesh(aka jesus).if you have seen me you have seen the father.
